The other day I reported that I found some gold. I know several people were speachless. But it is ok for you all to breath again. I struck out. It was all fools gold in the rock. Not a flake of real stuff. Took it to a guy that had a slick little machine at a prospecting shop and nothing was found. He said to clean the rock up and it would look nice in the yard. I think it would look better throught the scope on one one of my guns. Sorry to have every one excited for nothing LOL

Maurice; Have you tried purchasing some gold concentrates that have gold in them? You can get some for less than $100 that guarantee a certain amout. If you have that to pan out then you will see exactly what you are looking for.
That's the way I started, bought concentrates and panned them over and over in a tub just to improve technique and to get a firm handle on what I was looking for. Honestly I was happy there was pyrite in the cons as it was real easy to tell the difference side by side.
