I have recently stumbled into Dutch Flat and was wondering if anyone knew the area. I looked around and seemed to be looking at mountains of tailings. Can anyone give me information on whether or not it is worth exploring.

Dutch Flat (Dutchman Flat) That is Placer Co. off Hwy 80 Some Good Gold came out of that area. You need to do your Home work before you dig up there a lot of that area is claimed up and it is a felony to remove meneral from a claim I have some links on my page that will help you out.. Bill has a few claims around there for sale at a very good price, He is on my friends list the rock that looks like a crow. I use to go to GreaEgeal to watch the firewok show on the 4th nice area with some good camp grounds.
