OK, so besides the sluices, there are 2 California Sluice Box highbankers in that mess.  4 Power Sluices and 1  Jobe Highbanker combo with motor.  Trouble is, I have 3 more Mackirk sluices, 8 more Buckabilly sluices and a US Prospectors' G1! highbankers all coming next week!

AND this doesn't count the 6 Bazooka Gold Sluices I have sitting in my living room that I have't moved back there! Oy!

God, I have to find a store!  Good news is, my website will be going in a couple of weeks!

  • No you need that one speical unit that will get more gold. LOL. Add your stuff forsale out on my site for free as well www.a2zlist.net under Gold Claims/Mining Equip.

  • Well thats enough for right now. If gold hits 2500 you probably underestimated a lot more than both of us think.  I have borrowed two different angus boxes. Didnt by a friends angus dredge at 3/4 price. My opinion. I think they are probably good for cali or az and the material there. The pic i have of the unicorn vomit +20s dont show half of the colors of dense stone from the raging river. Never ran a buckabilly but heard good things. I see my casluicebox stream model has the two bars now.  If I had to work a hard river like the raging, then its casluicebox stream model. The very dense stone is tamed by the 13  drop riffles. I never lose gold or have any show in the waste pan. Up on the north fork I pull out the A52. 40 miles requires something different.  Its a pretty simple blonde and black there. And of course you know im working on a T2 stand and pump right now. Its evolving slowly. Right now if i had to make a choice out of the pile it would be casluicebox stream model. If my water was drying up the JR model. But thats one mans opinion and they are like...everyone has one. I think dollar for dollar they are the best you can find.

    • Actually, I add the 2 bars to the Cal Sluices and Us Prospector's  equipment.  It just makes things eaiser to hold them down in the water.

Here around Charlotte, everyone raves about the Mackirk line. 2010 it was the Le Trap sluice.  Then you have the old timers, who say it better be metal or it aint' worth a crap.  My team of testers, all seem to have their own preferences.  Like you said, everyone has one, opinion.  LOL

I even designed my own line of sluices.  Well, just one so far.

You're absolutely right about what will happen if gold hits $2500!  Or even $2000!  When it hit $1900, We almost had "Standing Room Only" at our GPAA club meeting.  Even people who were GPAA members, who had never attended a club meeting.  I heard one "expert" predict that gold was going to bottom out at $1480, and that would be a good time to jump back in it with both feet.  What newbies don't think about is, get into prospecting now!  Don't wait!  When gold goes up, that will make your gold worth more then if you wait to get into it when it's higher.

Anyway, take care and good hunting.  My site should be up in a couple of weeks.  We got slowed down due to Memorial Day.
