Let me give you one suggestion to your surface prep that I didn't see in your wonderful set of plans. I got this watching a Gold Hog video from the Doc, so I can't take credit for it, but trust me it really works on a miller table. Lowe's and numerous other people sell a product made by Rust-Oleum. Its called Truck Bed Liner and run about $6.95 for a can of spray paint. Doesn't require a whole lot of surface prep, maybe sealer on wood, and seems to be self leveling. It dries flat black with a wonderful gold grabbing texture. Give it a try, Orrin

i have found that the bottom glass and plastic frame of a 30 gallon long fish tank works awesome for this project also.
