Correct setting for gold on Garrett 350

I took my Garrett 350 detector to Alaska ,this past August, for 3 weeks and kept the setting on Gold.

I did find Gold With the help from Prospector,Gold Rush Peck,but not with the Garrett 350.

I found out when I got home,that I should have kept the setting on All Metal, because the Gold setting is for nuggets only, where as the All Metal setting picks up the fine stuff.

Anyone have any other imput on this?
