For the past few years, I have been 'guided' to come up with a Christmas Prayer.  Feel free to use it or change it to your needs.

Oh Lord,

It is written that 3 Magi brought gifts of Gold, Frankincense and Myrrh to honor the birth of baby Jesus. We are gathered here before you, but humble prospectors ourselves.

We give thanks to you for giving us your Son, for the food we are about to eat, for new friends, old friends and for friends departed. We pray that you watch over all of us and bestow your blessings. Please guide us with your wisdom, in the up-coming year.

In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
