Cache Creek, CO.

Hi guys,  (and gals)

I've been to our PGAA claims...the Arkansas Group (CO-7) and the Rebel Yell / Yankee Nugget (CO-11) but have never been to Cache Creek...so in about 2 weeks I'm headed there.  If anyone has been there can you answer a few questions?  I know I can operate my sluice just over the hill, south of the old cemetary, right?  Now, how far west along the creek can I go and still be ok?  2-3 miles?  I'm wanting to camp out and get away from the heavier worked areas, so if anyone can help with info. I'd appreciate it.  Thanks!   -Michael B.

  • If you go to the va-gold forum (Google va-gold) you can search for topics. There is a great trip report posted by C-17A on there. Just search Cache Creek and you ought to find his post. Before you can search on the forum, you might have to sign up, if you aren't already.

Hope this helps and gets you to the post!
