Boiler box mining explorer box

Today was the first day I got to go out prospecting this year so I grabed the explorer box and headed to the claim...I got this explorer box from boiler box mining and was ready to give it a try to see just what it could do .I have watched there videos and realy liked the idea of the boiling action of the box..... So I made it to the claim did a few test pans and started running the box but not before explaining to a couple prospectors what it was and how it was going to work... I believe I ran the box for a hour or two before I did  a cleanup that was very simple and quick two wing nuts and  and thats all then you can remove the grateing and the moss and rubber matting and I was suprised that the box had not loaded up after all the material I had ran thru it.... not sure of the results yet but lots of black sand for sure...well the boiling action of the box and the pressure seem to push the fines thru the miners moss and into the rubber mating.and I am sure if there was any nuggetts or pickers the moss would grab hold of them just fine .The box is about 3 foot long and about 10 to 12 inches wide so it is very lightweight and easy to handle and setup is a snap ..it is set up to run on a 1" 1/2 pump but I ran a 2" pump at less throttle and it worked great.the design is made to bust up clay and other hard material and what I put into it it  worked fine all the bigger rocks that passed over the grizley were very clean so there is no doubt in my mind that it was scrubbing them very clean ..The price of this highbanker is 650.00 + shipping and handling  and I would highly recomend this product .also I did have a video of it in use but I dropped my video camera in the clean up bucket so I have to scratch that idea first time I tryed to do a video and this is what happens ..I think this box is a great product and if you are in a area with nuggetts or pickers it would do great ...for my area I might put smaller rubber matting in since I am dealing with alot of flour gold I think it might catch it better but thats just my preferance ..check out there website and look at there videos you will be glad you did . I will post the pictures of the clean up and see what we gethttp://http://www.boilerboxmining.com/EXPLORER.html

  • Hey Tim,

Good to see your out an enjoying the high banker.......sorry about the camera.....hate it when that happens......I have

been through a few cameras over the last few years.........I like the expanded metals for riffles to catch fine golds over

riffle bars.......the water stays flatter through the sluice an helps drop gold as the expanded trips everything on it's way

down through the sluice and drops the gold an pushes lights up in the water col-um.......bigger gold is easy to catch an will

drop out alot easier in any system........larger scale systems with large sluices use angle iron riffle bars up top for heavier

golds an the expanded for flake an fines........this high banker was made for some of the claims I have with a run of gold

across a clay layer.......the gold is almost all on this false bedrock an in the clay to a few inches........so I had to make

something to hold and bust the clays down........an it worked really good for me an thought I'd share this design with

other prospectors with clay deposits.......I have other high bankers designed for other deposits or production.

I always enjoy designing an building mining equipment and talking with prospectors around the world.

    Take care out there.

  • Hello Tim! Been off the grid a while here in New York, and it is a pleasure to see you are in the gold! Are you running the machine into a catch tub - because you should. If you are catching - well us Arizona Boys & Girls would call it "micro-gold," like that, I want one of those puppies! Nice work friend, and a great post!
  • alot of hard work to get that little bit.. but you no what I mean you have prospected here and its tough but I cherish every little speck I find  thanks buddy
  • Nice gold, Tim! It all adds up!
