Bin Laden is dead!

I agree with you Mark! The kids today making sometimes two or three tours to combat zones, are real heroes. Not to make light of or ignore the men and women who have shared their "blood, sweat and tears" in our past conflicts. I will always shout out "WELCOME HOME!! to all our veterans. I went to Harley school in Phoenix with a young man who was a recipient of the Silver Star for rescuing some people in Iraq during an ambush, and with all the stares and hoopla bestowed upon him, I do believe he appreciated my "welcome home" as much as anything he received! You could see it in his eyes, the way they lost their wariness in an instant. These kids need to feel welcome just as much as us old vets. They deserve every consideration our country and each individual can give them. I'm a very proud of our Nation and I'm very proud to be a card carrying Vietnam and other conflicts, Veteran. Those kids are what allows me to carry a pick and shovel instead of a 70 pound pack and a rifle, and still stand as a proud man, knowing what I/we do also helps our economy and our nation. We prospectors put wealth back into the system, that can't be materialized out of thin air like paper money. Our nation will never be broken as long as there is an ounce of gold left in the ground and a willing man, woman, or child willing to work hard to get it.
