Its been warm here so I have been doing a lot of prospecting with my sluice box. Got down to bedrock yesterday and got into a crevice for some gold. Best single day ever here in Indiana. Hard to see all the flour gold but hey that's not what we all love to see.

Nice haul, do I hear road trip probably need help hauling it back home, I'm only 2000 miles away but am willing to help :)
dang wish I was finding some chunky stuff like that at the gatesville country store. Real nice looking gold for sure.
You can find the same kind of gold at Gatesville too. You just have to dig down 8-12 ft to get near bedrock. This cleanup was the result of me spending all day digging a hole 12 deep by about 6 ft diameter. Really really hard work.
You gonna be at Gatesville this Sat for the meeting?
unfornately no I won't I was there this last Saturday, testing out the mods I made on my highbanker/dredge combo. I would like to be there for one of the meetings but that might not happen til May or June before I can afford it again.
Very nice, is that about 6 gm.? or 5 maybe? Large chunky pieces, you got a good spot there, that could almost
qualify as a small placer deposit, very nice indeed.
Wow!
