Alaska Gold Camps

Hello all,

I saw an advertisement for an all inclusive gold camp for a week in Chicken Alaska. It is a week  trip dredging on 40 mile river. I was thinking about doing  it this summer. I wondered if any members have done any of these camps? Are there other camps anyone would recommend? This would probably be a once in a lifetime trip for me and I obviously want to be at the best place possible. If I could find enough gold to pay for the trip and put a little in my pocket, It would be awesome. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm planning to call in on next open mic night to see if i could get some conversation going, but i don't wish to take time from tonights guest.

    Spent many a summer in Chicken. Jim S. Is a great guy and runs a great dredging opportunity. Its worth it.

    I've been to chicken Alaska we found 9 grams and had a lot of fun. It is way out there you will not be disappointed. AkAU Alaska gold camp is also good Betty and Augie are great people who are in our club. Don't think pay for trip but to be there is worth it. I will go again for sure

      Thanks Jeff. I'll try to look them up also. Right now I'm still in research stages. I'm planning on going somewhere sometime somehow!
