  • hmmmm guess you mean damper on your highbanker drege combo? these are well known for saving fine stuff.never been too rebellious in this regard. and went with what ive always seen.with a dredge, only go 3/4 down the box.with combos that pre classify w/ screen or grizzly rods,maybe more. think the reason for stopping short of hole box, releasing the cobbles from last riffles. but when running preclassed material, and the mudflap isnt real heavy,maybe more. dredge combos can be deadly with fine gold, as most of these discharge above a grizzly or screen, smooth flow. if using an undercurrent, wouldnt matter w/ wo . hope this helps.
