I went ahead and bought a Keene 140 blower style dry washer.

I been digging a little deeper in the wash looking for bedrock but I been washing the dirt.  Sometimes the dirt is not "wet" but is a bit damp.  Folks around here (Near Quartzsite, AZ)  say run the dirt several times; which I have done and have found some gold but not much.

I noticed the instructions for my dry washer suggest to adjust the counter weight if your dealing with damper soil.

I was thinking of adjusting my dry washer a bit.  Anyone who has some experience in this area please chime in and give me some advice please :).
