Pro-suction dredge bill passes House in Idaho:
By the way, we have been researching new claims in Idaho this week and have found the EPA has withdrawn most gold bearing locations in the entire state from suction dredging because of their claim it hurts fish habitat. This is being done without one shred of science to back it up, when we can cite 20 studies done in the past 30 years by accredited, independent biologists, scientists and even DFG which state it does not harm fish habitat. When are people going to learn this isn't about fish? It is about control.

this bill did not pass the house it was sent back to the conservation and resource committee
Once these issues go through the courts and precidents are set, then we may finally be able to get in the waters though out the US, because these federal rulings will supersede State regulations. It's going to be a long battle but I think in the long run mining will be back in business. Dickb
That's a great start.....now the rest of the legislature needs to get on board with the dredging bill and get it passed into law. The EPA is out of touch and needs to be brought back into reality.....
