Subject: Meeting in Boise, on Feb. 3rd
Mario:
I called and verified that the meeting is in Boise at the Lincoln Auditorium at 1:30 MT, on Feb. 3rd, a Monday. This meeting is with the Senate Resource and Environment Committee. Please help us pack this meeting room, several folks that I know of from this area are attending. Don Smith from Riggins is setting this up. With the help of Paul Shepard, ID State Rep from our area. If you have additional questions Don’s Phone # is 208-628-2718. We are paying to have Joseph Greene a retired Research Biologist for the EPA who has written many reports supporting small suction dredging, to come to this meeting to speak, also Tom Kitcher from Waldo Mining Co. is coming to speak, he is knowlegable about the legal things that have to do with this. Doug Giddings, Idaho County Sheriff is also going to be there to speak, along with Jim Chemick, Idaho County Commissioner. The public is also welcome to speak, I suggest that they need to arrive early and sign in to do so, also written speaches will be accepted and added to the record. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Send them to Don Smith, P O Box 144, Riggins, Id. 83549. This is very important that Miners United to attend this meeting. If you care about mining, and are mad about being walked on by the EPA. We need to band together and help each other.
Thank You,
