Please add new posts about the Idaho Dredging issues to this thread.
As I previously stated I will have much more to add on this issue when I have the time.
Like many of you I have many obligations in my life that take precedence but I assure you this matter is high on my list and will be addressed as soon as possible.
If anyone has any facts or comments on Idaho Dredging feel free to post them here.

Until the EPA gets some with their permit, IDWR permit is the only permit necessary. The forest service will tell you that you need a NOI. But unless you are "causing a significant surface disruption" or plan on using closed trails or using mechanized equipment to transport, you do not.
If the forest service bothers you about dredging, ask them if they know which state agency has control over river/stream beds!? Then you can tell them to kick sand!! Lol... because the IDAHO DEPT OF LANDS has jurisdiction on them. And they say have fun & don't break the law.
Clay a friend just stop by our camp he got and email form the Head Forest Geologist. I will quote the part that has to deal with this. " I spoke to Mrs Wells about the NOI, IDWR permit and what is " required" as proof of your having submitted a Notice. HIS NAME you do not need , nor are you required, to provide a copy of a Notice of Intent to operate on the Boise National Forest System lands. You do not need a copy of it in your posession in order to pursue your activity. No agency, campground, private interest or person can expect you to provide proof that you have submitted a Notice of Intent. Please call me if you have any questions"
How do you read this?? I think it is saying you don't need one and no one can ask you for one.
