Hey Kieth I found an easier way to get the big Rocks from the bottom of the hole. I just told My son that I found my pickers under them !!! Laughing Here !

If no trees why not build something? Just hike some cement bags and whatever other material there. Dig a hole in the bank there and anchor a pole with a Pully attached maybe even cut the pole first and make a hinge so you can swing the rocks out of the way.
