Bob you would be better of going to another spot , as this is considered off limits to any activity a miner might do. joint the GPAA and you can use their claims, also joint a club like Olatha hs a branch of gpaa and Grand junction also has a club. they both have claims you can use when you join up, if you do go the Rattlesnake beware the rangers wont hesitate to give you a fine if they think you are prospecting.

Bob this looks like windy point at rattlesnake canyon. if it is it has been closed to us miners except in the water but I don't go there ,anymore.
