Wel enjoyed S. Dakota a lot. We stayed in Hillcity by Mt Rushmore area. I think we put on something like 500 miles in that week on trails alone. Most of the people were from Wisconsin and Minnesota. Kind of a crazy group of people. We rented cabins and usually at night had a HUGH bbq at our cabin and it was a bring your own meat and share a dish. More then a few beer were drank.
That extra 8" of frame length sure makes a hugh difference in stability. At one time my wife and I both had matching 700 lime green TRV machines. My wife is a green fanatic. We took our cats to S. Dakotah with a group of about 100 friends for a week of riding and the TRV was fun but I had a heck of a time with the extended length. So when we got back to Montana she took over my machine (less miles as it was brand new) and I went out and bought my silver bullet. We use to travel all over the western U.S. with friends from a atv web site and boy that was a LOT of fun. Lucky for us Idaho has 1000's of miles of some incredible trails. So now we kind of focus on Wallace Idaho as it is only 137 miles from my door to gods country for atvers. Plus the community of Wallace Idaho is very atv friendly. Montana has pretty much shut down atv riding around here. Dang tree huggers are getting more and more land shut down every day. One of these days I will post up some pictures of our atv rides. Any how Frank welcome to the site and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do
Nice looking machine! I got a couple Arctic Cats myself. A 2010 700 silver LE with about 4500 miles and a 2011 700 black TRV (my wifes machine) with about 1800 miles. We use to ride a LOT. I run front and rear winches on my silver machine. I have done a few 5-7 day campout on trails on my machine and that is a LOT of fun.
