I wonder if you can modify it to use motorized vibration. Would help knock off those small rock and no need to shake the buckets after. Looks sturdy , though.
i only use 1 screen at a time in it the screen i use is not something you can find in home dept or lowels its a lot heaver made material its used in places where they screen gravel to different sizes i also have a piece of flat expandes metal most of what i use is eather a 1/16 inch to a 1/8 inch thick
the screens are screwed into some brackets that are bolted in the sq boxthe angle is fairly steep so the material will slide off easy
this was built quiet a few years back when we worked a gravel deposit most of the time we worked and use the classifier the material was dry but it does work good if the material is damp never tried it with real wet material its set up to remove tme material bigger then a 1/2 inch which goes throught the grizzly it has different size screens to go into it we use it on the snake river here in idah on a lot of gravel and sand bars most of the gold there was under minus a 100 mesh we did use a 1/8 inch screen 2 ppl shoveling can fill a 5 gallon bucket in less then a minute

Ken, does this thing have 2 surfaces up on the top part? I can't get it screwed into my head how it works.

Looks like a nice build, Ken. What size does it classify down to?
Nice little rig! Too bad the Broll didn't exist back then, but a slight change and you could roll the buckets right under it and away you go!
ted 2 of us shoveling and one moveing buckets have a hard tine over loading it
Nice looking screen, Ken. I'll bet that it'll take material as fast as you can shovel to it, huh?
Great Tool Ken !!!
thanks mike
