i agree! with both of you it would be easier to use a leaf blower but im not using mine, i need it to blow leaves. i just had this extra motor and thought what can i use it for, and a light weight gas water pump seemed like it would perfect for backpacking and climbing down a canyon. i had thought about a 2200 gph dc pump. but the pressure loss per foot is pretty dramatic. if you remember howard, we had talked about the source of gold im finding and i want to explore higher up above the river. but without a decent supply of water it would be too much work. and too dangerous. a small harbor freight pump would be too heavy to hike in and out. anyways if i can find a small pump assembly i can adapt it to the shaft. a friend has a pretty good oldschool machine shop. so we can make parts if needed. ideally i want to be able to use it as a pump and transfer the motor to a bucket top crack vac. any ways thanks for your imput as always guys. by the way i didnt realize i posted this on you post howard, i meant to post it on the main paige. sorry about that!
