Don't know Chris but yes, I do park at barnet park and walk. I went down there for about an hour yesterday. As for owl creek, I've been down there once and found plenty nice colors. I'd like to hit that one again but didn't like where I had to park..at the end of a street in front of a house.
I've heard of stamp creek but don't know where it is. But I do get plenty of color out of Downing creek...I went last Sunday in the rain. I also am a member of the Weekend Gold Miners.
Sure do, I live in Cherokee county. Lots of fine gold in the streams feeding Lake Allatoona. We'll have to get together one day and hit a stream. I've never dredged, only panned, sluiced and highbanked. Most of the land I prospect around allatoona is corp of engineer property and all you can do is pan.
i have looked at the roster and have found 5 others Ryan Acworth ,Anthony in Waycross,John Garrett Forsyrh,Francis Canton, and GAJOKER Blackshear. and where all do you hunt gold at most?
