  As of now the Environmental review by the DFG is underway it is expected to go for another public comment period in the fall of 2010, the review maybe done and new regulations per the review put in place by summer or fall of 2011, but who knows for sure if that will happen!!
  
  On the bright side the PLP has file a Federal Lawsuit and should soon be look at by a Federal Judge to see if the lawsuit has grounds to go to trial, the PLP is hoping to get the Judge to order the state of California to let the dredgers back in the water while the "review" is being done, among other things.

  Anyone here in California know of present conditions regarding Governor Schwarzeneggers singning SB670 prohibiting dredging. Was hopeing to get up to the sierras for the first time this year and now I'm just not sure. I haven't looked over the forum just yet to see if this topic has been talked about, if so just let me know.
