I was in your area April 09 .I only had a little time to sample at Keysville found a little color in the first pan.Was I just lucky or is it a good spot to spend some time?

yes there are several out around coolguardie area and randsburg. I am always heading out to the barstow area as I'm out here at FT Irwin and it is 40 min away. wish I could go to goldstone area as it is only 15 min away....

we are having an outing out in the desert this weekend. We are going to meet at Tehachapi on saturday morning around 8am. Come join us if you have the time. It is just for one day.
Grant, Do you belong to the Golden Valley Prospectors? If not we meet at the Rasmussin Center on Roberts Lane every 2nd Tuesday. Our next meeting is on Apr 14 and we are going on an outing the weekend after. You are more then welcome to join us.
Grant I like the Benson cyn area. Yes I will be at the outing. I spent the day getting my Equipment ready. Dog was going out today on the lower kern river. I was going to go but just had to munch to do to get ready for Sat.I hope Dogs not mad that I didn't go.
