  • Yep Flour Gold heaven.Do you ever try up north as in close to Genesee or Devon.I spent a lot of time on the NSR.Will forever remain one of my favorite rivers.Best gold I ever found was around softball size pieces of quartzite. Also the gravel will look totally different as in petrified wood ,serious garnet purple and red.Alot of cobble and not much sand.Hard as heck to dig in.This typically along with an area where icebergs pile up during winter. Will be your best paying area's.It is really tough getting down there in dead of winter, just to see where icebergs pile up.But it will pay dividends,if you can locate this type of area. Also just down from most tributary's hold a lot of the material I speak of ,but not due to scouring and resorting like you need, just outwash from trib.Go a ways away from entrance like 1km then look for gold.Hope this helps.DirtHogg
