The Carolinas better watchout or else the same thing will happen here that happed to Small Scale Prospectors in Virginia! Virginia legislators enacted a little known law and decalred all creeks, streams and rivers as "Navagational Waters"! IE: No dredging what-so-ever! Even on Private Property!
The government OWN NOTHING. They only hold in trust that which the TAX PAYERS pay for. EVERYTHING the government buys belongs to WE THE PEOPLE. We paid for it. If you don't like the people that are in control of the purse strings THEN VOTE THEM THE HELL OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The EPA doen't even have a constitutional mandate. Vote people in that will FIRE their A$$ES.
Well they are already here in NC. I visited an area we have leased near Ashville and the streams were closed to motorized vehicles. There was a boundry keeping you away from the creek. The EPA has already made us fill in a catch pool where we used our high bankers making us use the creek. Then the boundries where put up. I think there may be more gold there than they want us to find.
The Gvt. owns all the US media, and they tell them what they can and cannot say to the public. There is total media black out about Japan and radiation, etc. Canada took the detectors and turned them all off so people wouldn't know how bad it is. Also the stealing of public land by the GVT, is a way to control. We gave away a LOT of rights after 911, and most do not have a CLUE how many, and how repressed we are in this country. There is no free speach, NO personal privacy in an airport, they can go down your pants and grope your private parts if they want to and you can't stop them.
The only thing that keeps the Big G at bay is big groups, like GPAA, and other organized people that can and will fight back with facts, figures, laws, and proof that miners do not harm the enviroment. Metal Detectorists are having the same problem as cities shut down public parks to them, public beaches. They want you to eat Genetically modified food, hormone and chemically tainted milk and meat. Now they have a law preventing folks from selling home grown food at farmers markets, and in some states it is against the law to feed the homeless. Now, the radiation monitors have been shut off, there is total media black out on the internet AND on radio and tv, to tell everyone that the water is radioactive, milk is now radioactive, if the milk is, you can bet that steak you are going to barbecue this summer will be glowing in the dark. BUT they won't tell you the truth about any of that. Their idea of dealing with this crisis is to UP the anti of how much radiation you can survive with, AND to shut down monitors so you don't know just how bad it has gotten. When the milk in VT. has radiation in it? Well, that just shows how bad it must be in CA. WA. OR? Canada? We have NO rights, and the few we THINK we have? They are working overtime to figure out how to take those away. We stand and fight to keep our public parks and rights, or soon, we will all be corralled in our houses with no hobbies. Just work to pay the taxes so they can piss our money away on another war.
I'm way out west, but I joined to better stay in touch with the mining issues across the country.
