    Gary, The GPAA Radersburg Claim is open, good 4 wheeling area, good dry washing and detecting. Usually you will run into another prospector out there from our local chapter.

    Thanks for your input and invitations guys!  I'm headed out tomorrow though, and will probably be home by the time these digs will be.  Does anyone know of other places that I can prospect in the Helena and Lincoln areas?  I'm just not sure if there are any open areas, or if most everything is claimed up.

    the billing chapter has a big dig in zortman mt. phillipsburg county memorial day weekend don't have to be a member to go. view details st there web site gpaa.org/billing chapter. there a great bunch to have fun with

    Gary, Brian and everyone, if you will be in the area May 16 our local Chapter is having our annual detector hunt in Radersburg. We have a 140 acre GPAA Claim to prospect on and a lot of area to 4 wheel around.  Every one is invited, dry camping available great fun weekend with fellow prospectors. Info at headwatersgpaa.com

    I'd like to head out and prospect for a week or two, and just looking for a direction and someone to prospect with.  Have a lot of equipment, and am pretty good with all of it.  Also have a 4 wheeler and my camper.  Looking for areas in Lincoln, Helena, or maybe Dillon area.  Am GPAA member too, but don't see much here as far as claims to hit.  Anyone interested, let me know!  Gary

    Dang Matt. I am sorry to hear that. But I undertand the enjoying having friends around to go with. Isnt there a club up in C-Falls you could join? I hear some good people up there. I went to the Butte show a couple weekends ago and ran into Lee Team Sidewinder. He is getting into prospecting now. He is in a pretty good area. Dude dont give up go out and find someone to go with

    Thinking about selling my prospecting equipment off.  Between taking care of my wife full time and no friends to go prospecting with, what little free time I have I'd rather spend riding my ATV or motorcycle.  I have:

    2 pans, one is a standard size green pan and one is a small finishing pan.  I can get the sizes if you need them.

    2 classifiers.  Not sure of the mesh size, but like with the pans, I can get the sizes for you.

    Royal Manufacturing folding sluice.  Fits into a 5 gallon bucket for storage/transport.

    Misc. stuff including snuffer bottles, black sand magnet, vials, etc.

    I can get photos of everything if you'd like.  They are buried in my storage unit, so it may take a day or 2 to gather everything up.

    I'm willing to take reasonable offers on all this stuff, but be realistic with offers please lol.  I'm also willing to ship, but you pay shipping ;)
