Highbanker help

Our club will be demonstrating prospecting, panning to a Boy Scout troop this Monday. I plan to set up my highbanker to show the basics of capturing some cons. How did the piece of machinery get to be called "highbanker"? Thank you in advance.

    Just a guess, but you feed it "bank run" material, and after shoveling into it for 3-4hrs, you will know where the word "high" comes from.
