I purchased a Gold Well sluice. Took it to our claims up in the Yukon. It worked very well! I would buy it again. Easiest clean up since it has no matting to wash out. I bought the 6 inch by 36 inch model. Very well constructed.

Good to hear you found a way to conquer that sweet gooey mud at Bill's place. That is the toughest stuff I have ever worked. Dickb
Just came back from the Mountain Creek Gold Mine in New London, NC. Bernie's Gold Well really works great. Set the sluice up to retrieve the fine/flour gold from the thick muck they call clay. Had a load of black sand and a rainbow of ultra fine particulate gold in the bottom of the pan at cleanup. I figure that if can retain the ultra light , small material, it should do just fine with the larger grained gold.
Just bought a 12 X 60 gold well. I'll be going out to Mountain Creek Gold Mine in New London, NC, to set up the flow and angle. I figure that the streambed has had quite a going over this past summer, and most of the larger material is probably gone. I'll get to set it up and fine tune it for fine/flour gold that everyone missed. Material will be provided by using a 4 inch suction dredge that has a patent pending straight through classifier that is set for 1/4 inch material.
The only "complaint" that I have is the weight, 32 pounds. But if it can separate the silica from the gold, who cares.
I am glad you like it ...I have not heard alot about them yet nor have I ever seen one being used or tried one yet But someday I hope to thanks again ...keep us posted and thank you
