I need some feed back on the Camel Mountain Trommel. I've always been intersted in all things portable. I like what I see. but is it everything it's cracked up to be? Any other recommendations for small battery trommels?

I have been looking at this one. Price is right and classifying 10-20 buckets per hour is on mark with a piece of ground im looking at where there are power and noise restrictions and a lot of material available. I could also leapfrog this one in a pattern to refill each open hole as another one is opened up.

I would think it more as a clean up machine. It is rather inexpensive. If you are looking to go out and dig and run material, then go with something portable but a little larger like a Javelina or something similar http://www.wildboarprospecting.com/javelina%20gold%20trommel.htm A good highbanker will do you great too like the CC690 from Advanced Mining which is what I have and it is quite portable and easy to use. You need to go with what budget you have and what you kind of material you are going to use it for and want to run. Watch the video from the Camel and see just how he is feeding it with a hand scoop instead of a shovel. Good luck choosing.
