The Nevada Mining company of French Gulch California supported French Gulch Wild West days with a mine truck in the parade and equipment on display. Chip Hess one of our Members here had a booth for his store (Miners Cache) set up and teaching kids to pan he sent them home with the gold they panned !

Guess I should of read the entire title, just saw Nevada mining company. LOL
Ted the ore that they procces is a white Quartz it appears to have black speckles thru out it this mine is in Shasta county California at the top of French Gulch.
It would be interesting to see the vein that they are working. Nothing prettier that a quarts vein with free milling gold in it. Ted
No Ted I haven't been on a tour yet but the local prospecting club is trying to arrange one. Vince Costa one of our members here on prospectorspace is working there now but night shift so I haven't talked to him an a while.
Did you get to tour the under ground workings? Nevada is one of the few states that still promote mining- nice. Ted
