Last year we made a run just sampling likly spots on a back road drive. Tomorrow I plan to go back to a dry wash we found and take the recirculating sluice and sample it Proper. This time I'm trying something I have very litle experience with, A metal detector even if all i pick up in the way of signals is lead Im thinking it would be showing me where the heavys are as thats my experiance with gold in creeks. If I really feel adventure some I may bend some brass rod and try dowsing ( Note to self wear Tin Foil Hat ) Heres a couple of photos of the wash, I did find some flake in a quick stop last year !

Well the dry wash after further sampling and checking the area out is not a natural wash but instead it is tailings spread across the ravine instead of in piles I base this on spotting the area of hill that had been Hydraulicly washed in the past Yes I recoverd gold but not much and it was very fine I guess they did a good job of recovery the first time so a photo of thee material and the gold the gold on the left side of the dime is from saturday more about the the gold on the right in just a bit !

I need to keep beter notes last year I dug and classified material from 4 seperate spots in the wash and ran them down the sluice later at a stream I found about 5 flakes but now no longer remember which sample areas they came from Seinor moment ? Heck I think I have Senior Years !!! Laughing Here !
