I recieved a new set of The Gold Fever Classifier Buckets from Bradley James and was lucky the rain held off saturday and I got to give them a good test run at Olney Creek. Living in Northern California and prospecting for me its shovel and classifiers and I'm hard on Classifiers I go through at least one a year.
After 6 hours at the Creek using the 1/4 inch bucket Iwas quite pleased with how well it took my abuse and worked very well for me the only time I switched back to my old style classifier was when I hit a layer of clay then had to use the cheese grater method to push that matierial through.
Sunday I ran some cons from my carpet with the Barbie sluice I classified a full bucket in about a 3rd of the time it normaly takes me using the 1/8 inch bucket I was quite impressed.
Spending a Rainy Easter sunday running my cons made it a great day
Thanks for the Great Product James I was much Impressed with the quality and preformance and already seeing how much they will help. if you work a recirculator in dry areas like I do at times they will help conserve your presious water and still be able to fully classifie your material !

This last weekend Olney Creek was totally dry so conserving water was important I was classifying My material dry at 1/4 inch then would dump the tailings in a Gold Fever Classifying bucket to wash off any remaining material, By the end of the day I had a full bucket of material I wouldn't have had just classifying dry and had used less than ten gallons of water to do it These Buckets are a great help when your in a dry area !
dry land use, I'll try that sometime.!
Keith I used Mine Saturday on the upper Olney Creek working Cracks and Crevasses there I find it easy to just throw my scoops in the bucket with the 1/4 inch classifier in it and haven't kicked it over once (I've been known to do that and then say some bad words !) it really helps with the dry land work !
Howard,
I used my buckets in Georgia and found some emeralds due to the ability to classify the materials down to 1/8 inch or less. About a shovel full is easily worked and you can get rid of the junk left. I liked them and will use them again, soon I hope. Thanks for the tips you gave me...!
