Mining Claims

I am going to be mining in Central Cal around the end of March and throughout the summer, is there anybody that has any claims up that way I could get permission from to prospect on. All I have is knowhow, a metal detector and a pan and shovel. No serious equipment.

You can join United Prospectors INC for 45 bucks a year. They have a few claims in centeral Ca as well as where I live here in Plumas county, Ca http://www.unitedprospectors.com/index.html
