I tell you what, I have a degree in social psychology and I still don't understand women, no sir, not one bit. My wife is from England, hates it here in Texas, too hot, too dry, too crowded, no seasons. So I told her that as soon as we can we'll move to someplace that's better for her health and find a place with 4 seasons and gets a fair amount of snow. (I tried to sell her on Alaska, but she says the seasons have to be longer than a few days.) We'd pretty much made up our minds to go with her allergists recommendation and move to Northern California, this being after she'd had us take a mini family vacation to the Smoky mountains in Tennessee and scout out that area, she loved it, but then changed her mind for Northern Cali., now after talking to my daughter who lives in northern Alabama, she's now wanting to re-look at Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama.... go figure, guess we'll have to wait a few days like the weather here in Texas, give it a bit and it will change.

Scott, Odis, the only allergies she has environmentally is Arizona Ash pollen, no the allergies she suffers from is she's allergic to soy, wheat, yeast, beef, tuna and eggs. She also has fibromyalgia (not sure about the spelling of that), and they're now thinking she may have MS or worst case, brain tumor, fingers crossed it's none of the above and it's just something that's resulting from the extreme heat here in Texas and her fibro...as far as the local honey, yes this is true I've been blessed so far and not suffer from much of anything, when I first moved back to Texas after being gone in the Navy I suffered from the cedar pollen and would get cedar fever, then an old woman in the hill country told me an old wives tale remedy to cure the cedar fever, take 5 ripe berries from the cedar tree and mix it in with a milkshake, I did this for about 4 years and didn't get sick again when the cedar pollen was at its highest.
if she has bad alleriges ten nc ga border area is one of the worst places in the us for alleriges
We've actually talked about the RV thing, especially after watching that Robin Williams movie RV, unfortunately, my wife has one other love besides myself and our son. Horses..., she's wanting to find a place she can have horses, sheep, goats, chickens and grow her own food. Since she was told she's allergic to wheat, yeast, beef, soy, tuna, and eggs she's done a lot of research and the crap they allow to be put in our food it's amazing that America has a population at all. I personally dream of living in Alaska and if I were single I'd live there in the summer and someplace close to my daughter in the winter. So I'm going to let her decide where she wants to live since she'll probably out live me and I'm going to try and sneak off during the summer to Alaska for at least a few weeks....
I have worked and now on a job in Ca. The northern part is ok but it is still California. I have also worked in Alaska and it is a beautiful state but I still wouldn't trade it for NC or east Tenn.
Sounds like Ya'll could use an RV. I've heard you can have a Mailing co. send your mail to you were ever you are. not sure how to regester or insure the rig but sounds like fun.
