Here is the classifers I make and they work nice.

Homemade Bucket Classifier
Material & Tools:
(1) 5 gal plastic bucket.
(2) 14” x 14” window screen, hardware cloth with 1/8” or 1/4” squares.
(3) Roll 2” wide duct tape.
(4) Permanent marker
(5) Saw or knife anything to cut the bucket with.
(6) Sheet metal shears.
(7) Hammer
(8) Piece of scrap of wood. 1” x 3” x 6”.
Note: The bucket handle has been removed from the drawing for clarity.
Step #1
Make cuts #1 & #2 with your saw or knife.
Step #2
Unroll the screen or cloth so that it lays flat.
Place narrow (bottom) of part “B” on the screen or cloth.
Using the permanent marker, mark around the outside of the bucket frame. The ink will mark anything
under the material so be careful!
Next, draw another circle 1” to 1-1/4” wider. By eye is OK.
Step #3
Using the shears cut around the outside circle.
Next cut out triangles around the circle as shown
in “D”, by eye is OK.
The finished part should look like “E”.

Re-insert part “B” into the folded screen and check for snugness. Re-do if needed.
Now wrap about three times with the duct tape starting near the bottom and covering to the top of the
pointed tabs.
Step #6
Insert the combined parts “B” & “E” into the top of part “A” with the screen end going in first.
With the hammer and a short piece of wood drive this assembly to the bottom of part “A”. Due to the
taper of part “B” it will get harder as you go deeper. Stop when you’re at the bottom.

Step #4
Place the “B” section on top of the screen and fold the tabs up the side of the bucket
