trade it for for what we need, buy sell or trade. I traded for some nice little 16 mesh pieces to give away to the folks i teach panning to, give them a big enough piece or two to understand what they are looking for, at $900.00 spot those pieces are a little over a buck each in value and we get a new small scale miner into the circle to help keep the lands open..... and its a tax write off if i ever decide i need one too. We tend to keep a couple nuggets and peddle the rest and report it to the government so as not to be committing treason by keeping a strategic metal from circulation, though to my knowledge so far no one has been persecuted by that law since implementation during WW2.
