Getting ready to take a 2 month camping prospecting trip to AZ, CA, and then north to pick up my dredge, the rules down south here are awesome.I,m looking for any info that would help me out and maybe give me a chance to meet fellow prospectors. I'm camping in a mini van and a tent. I'm not sure what gear I have for desert prospecting and appreciate any good advice. I will start my trip in N. South Carolina, GA, AL and will then head west to NM and onward. I like to comb prospecting shops for used equipment so if you know of good spots please let me know. Its my chance to follow a life long dream and I hope I can find some good gold on my travels. I would appreciate any info that you may think is helpful, maybe I'll get a chance to meet some of you.

Hey Cecil, i haven't got out of here yet but am working on it, sounds like I need to do at leastone motor mount on my little van and a few more camping supplies. Right now I'm shooting for around the end of the week. Are you in the Ashville area? Any good camping that way?
