I work on club claims in Gold Basin and Lost Basin (Meadview), AZ. Its still 160 mile round trip to these sites. I like to drive home and sleep in my own bed at the end of the day. I went to the GPAA Wanderer Mine claim in California once, I want to go back sometime but I'd bring a tent and plan for a several day trip.
I have not Seen gold cube in action. I will have to do that. I think it will wait till I get my dry washer in the next couple weeks. You mostly working around your area?
I' set up for water system. In big bear it's useless hae to go dry washer you using gold cube instead of dry washer or after dry washer? I'm looking at a 140 don't know if I want to go to 151 size.
I have a Keene 140 drywasher that I run with an Echo PB-250 blower motor. Best recovery I get is from running at very low rpm in desert placers. Even here I suspect I'm losing most gold < screen size 50. In desert placers this is not a good report, as most gold is small, fine. I recently purchased a gold cube and am working out a better solution.
Keene offers their model 151, which is advertised as being suitable for two people to operate. If your working in dry mountain stream channels, where you anticipate much course gold to be had, this model 151 may be useful. But understand, a water based system will always outperform an air based system.
I was @gold mountain Temecula valley prospectors outing. Was a learning trip, since I only dry washed once before. I just like prospecting in the water and in the mountains so I guess I will have to settle for just the mountain. Ya maybe after next winter all that ash will wash away up there and make it easier to prospect.
Where about on Big Bear did you go First class miners have a claim in rattle snake canyon and more around JT Park, but I hear the big gold is in 44 nugget canyon around Tip Top Mt. Temecula valley Prospectors is a Nuther club around you. I would love to do some prospecting in Deluz Canyon Some day mabie even some camping West of Lake Hemit were that big fire started.
Thanks went to big bear yesterday. The guy I was supposed to meet up with to try a drywasher out mom had stroke. I went anyway to check claim out. Took recirculating high banker but water turned to mud quick. Did get to see two Keene 140's in action and a puffer. I like the 140 with vac give more opportunities. My wife likes puffer less noise and not as much dust. The 140 or 151 meet your guidelines not sure of puffer. Thanks for your help appreciate it.

Using a gold cube instead of drywasher, or after drywasher hmm.. i dunno. That is part of what i'm working out in the claims I have access to.
