Hello everyone. This is my first blog. Has anyone been to the GPAA claims Bahde 10-14 and 17-18?...mostly interested in trail road conditions. I have 4x4. If you have been there would you like to share your experience. I plan to be down there the month of April. If anyone is going I'd like to meet up too...thanks, jeff
It looks like I'm a little late responding, but better late than never.
BAHDE 17-18 are right off the oil road with roads and trails throughout and can be accessed with 2wd for the most part.
Most of my time down there had been on the BAHDE 10. Again 2wd is fine for most of the trails.
I have found a few small nuggets metal detecting last Christmas, but there is a lot of trash and hot rocks. There seems to be gold just about everywhere you dig. My best suggestion for you is to get down to the red layer (anywhere from 18" to 4' down) as that is where I've found the best gold.
