Does anyone know where to get a spiral gold wheel "replacement motor"? I have searched the web, but am only finding motors that move back and forth. I do not have a part #. Thank you
"GOLD SEEKER": What I had meant to say was that I used to have a gold wheel from 1978. I really liked the motor on it and was searching for one. Sorry. But the wheel was metal w/ a metal stand, was blue in color and had a deep lip for mercury cleanup. It was called a Gold Hog.
I am planning on installing the motor on my Trommel. The less work, the better.
You are using the motor for the gold Wheel corect ? http://www.servocity.com/html/3-12v_gear_motors.html Im not sure what the motor looks like for one but Google 12 v motors theres lots of Co. or you could use an Inverter on a 110v motor or just use it at Home if its to fast use a DimerSwitch. theres a 12v car Fan motor or the Heater Motor they even make a Fan that sits on the Dash

No. I just built Mike's Hand Trommel (my Videos). I am putting one on it.
Adam are you trying to build a gold wheel now ? a low flow Gold table would be a lot easyer to build.

How did you convert the box fan to 12 volt from the standard wall plug?
