Ken Gold and platinum are found blended very compatable one small nugget I have is almost bronze in color try googling platinum nuggets images you will be suprised at the variety of color and form
this is why i ask that button weighs 43 grams its solid silver grey in color and none magnetic it does have a little gold in it nitrate acid wont didolve it
Nope Ken its such a small piece I just leave it as Interesting I do have a couple of small Known platinum nuggets and but the more flowing shape is unique to my other pieces as far as weight it hid down under the black sand with the gold i have googled platinum nugget images and wow what a wide range of form !

howard its platium for sure wh made about 15 buttond just like that one havs sent a couple to have assayed waiting on the test resaults
this and the rest of the buttons are just a small part of the black sand off my claims after most of the gold has been removed
