I have found out the hard way It is best to work the Dirt the way it comes out of the ground LOL. I am going to have to through that 12v fan out the window and get a leaf-blower or convert it to a bellow, Looks like I will have time the monsoons are moving in and they are calling for Rain all week LOL.
I've never been much into dry washing, but my uncle built one that looks a lot like yours. He mounted a wiper motor with the ecentric arm, on it to run the bellows. From what I remember, it worked pretty good (it was 40 years ago) lol. Ted
Just curious because i know absolutely nothing about drywashers other than my grandpa had one in the corner of his shop buried under car fenders when I was little. Is there some sort of standard spacing between the riffles and a certain height?
Ted that is my garden but ya I saved half of my buckets for prospecting the rest are in the Garage.. Thanks for the Heads up James I think it is running about 32* and the hopper at 45*, I think I will have to convert it into a Bellow. Good thing I enjoy making things . LOL Thanks for the Inspiring comments I think I could Dig us a fire pit now :)
Spur, make sure you have the proper angle on the board, other wise the dirt will just sit there and not move. I had this problem on my until I sloped it forward.
