These cons were from Lower Bear Camp ground. Back in the day we could dredge All Year long, we would run wetsuit heaters.. I have been having good luck at my spot in certain situations I didnt consider as containing good placer deposits in the water course back then..
I guess I can say I have learned more about where it hides by not being allowed to dredge and still be able to make Wages. I have definately sharpened my skills since.
I Really Needto take myself on a 2 Wk. Dredging Adventure in some state where you can dredge, I gotta get my fix! We have dredged here and there during this moritorium but we're always too hurried and scared we're gonna get caught.
Nice job I hope I can dredge one day. I was happy with with 3/4 penny weight I brought back from Alaska panning. Let me know if you need a mule to move those boulders. Hope you get well soon.
Good luck with the back, I know the feeling been on 2 kinds of morphine for 4 years now and 8 other pills L5 - S1 also issues with upper back. R/A also move to Washington state afte having 3 surgeries in Arizona had to get out of the heat.

My Chirop. had me go get a M.R.I. today, he thinks I pulled a disc.. X-rays were inconclusive.. $500.00 Yikes!
Being a Full-Time miner in the summer has it's drawbacks... But It's alot more fun than doing finish carpenter work.. I've got my come along and boulder sling stashed up there Now!!

Those are some great concentrates. I'd like to get a few buckets like that.
I just had back surgery on 7/11 and it will be another month or so before I can get back out and do some prospecting.

Dredging might be legal again someday.. I sure miss it. Moving 6-10 yards by hand isnt easy these days!!
I am looking for a partner to help me work my spot.. All my friends have real jobs, I tell them "This is a real Full Time job" Weather Permitting!
