Union Hill test hole

You dig down through the overburden and sweep of the bedrock for flakes...I only found a couple of fly specks. Detectors are no good here, the place was like a military shooting range. Lead and shell casings everywhere.

Yep I tried a detector there too I met one guy that spent about 3 hours with one and came up wit 5 flakes and a lot of brass and lead !
