Just heard this on news today....At the deer tagging stations there is sometimes a state biologist there who pulls a tooth and collects tick samples from deer getting tagged and weighed. Of all the tick samples taken last year 1/3 of them tested positive for lyme. Scary!
I hate those little buggers. I had about a dozen of them crawling all over me one day when I was in Georgia last month(jan, 2020). One actually found its way onto my leg and I freaked out by taking my lighter & tried to burn it, burned. Then I pulled that blood sucker out w/it's head still stuck in me. It took me about an hour to calm down after a long steaming hot shower and a pair of tweezers. So far so good, no bulls eye rash or any other symptoms that are associated with these little buggers & their lyme disease.
