  • I'm Missing My Spot on the river since the weather ran me out and the water went cloudy!!  Been back to finish carpenter work.. Atleast there's a roof over me everyday and got my halogens to give me light and heat, Can't wait till spring!

  • You could be on to some very rich virgin placer, Michael. Rivers changed their courses many times over the years. My home is on river wash gravel, and the river is 5miles away now.

  • I cant believe it!! It Keeps getting Better on The Fast side, I think what I'm into is the ancient river bed that before the erosion of the inside bend took place was actually the inside bend before the river slipped.. The lucky thing for me is the bedrock depth averages 12" to 2' and is rotted from the vegetation intruding the bedrock and splitting it..

You can take the bedrock apart with your bare hands and all the seams and cracks run at right angles to the waterflow!

  • Looking good. Is that from your 12 buckets of cons.
  • I hear ya durant....thats some pretty stuff!

  • I wish I have a week like that heck a year would be nice.

  • And where did you say this honey hole is? Tell us the story of how you found it? And does that gold have any weight to it? I have a spot that yields nice pretty color in my pan but it has no weight to it, hardly.
