Mike I guess my flow is odd too thats where the really fine gold collects in my Jobe the flare fits inside the sluice and that small step creates a low pressure area. I use that spot as a visual of the black sand and fine gold in the material I'm running might be odd but works for me !
You have a really odd flow going there. Normally that flour up top will slide up to the tiny aluminum lip and build there. You have it at the lip edge down. Good looking stuff though.
