After running 7 gallons of 1/4 minus material and letting the lights clear off the Barbie Sluice left me with only a table spoon of heavys and Gold to pan !

Dennis if you feed a sluice to fast the riffles load up and the gold will just skim ofer the top and not get caught in the low pressure areas this little sluice is kinda a cross between a drop riffle and a normal sluice once the gold drops over the humps a low pressure holds it tight. the sluice is wider towards the bottom so the flow is lighter there and even fine gold drops out in that area !
Thats a Great little Setup Howard. I Steel Do Not Understand Why we have to feed a Sluice, and Try to Over Load a Trummel. I Gess it's all about the Fine Au.

Preston a wallmart bilge pump (800 gph) runs this puppy just fine a smaller pump might be fine as I have the by pass all the way open in these photos.
After seeing your set-up here, Howard, I'm thinking that I need to re-design mine. What type of pump do you use? Looks really good, though!
