  •  Larry is correct, mineral oil...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mineral_oil

    "Mechanical, electrical and industrial

Mineral oil is used in a variety of industrial/mechanical capacities as a non-conductive coolant or thermal fluid in electric components as it does not conduct electricity..."

  • Ac uses mineral oil. You can go down to the local drug store or dollar store and get some cheap. What ever is left over great to use on tools and knives and guns.
  • From what I've been told, submersible pumps use the same oil as air conditioning, or refrigerator compressors.

  • I pulled My pump apart to repair a rubber seal that was leaking I now need to replace the oil.. Does anyone know where to get and what kind of "non-conductive" oil to use I have hydraulic jack oil not sure if it's conductive or not any ideas ?
